The ingredient of Breakfast Beans On Toast

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
  • 2 rashers bacon finally diced
  • 2 tablespoons coles brand tomato paste
  • 1 x 400g can tomatoes diced
  • 1 3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • cannellini beans drained rinsed
  • thick sliced toast to serve
  • 4 poached eggs to serve

The Instruction of breakfast beans on toast

  • preheat oven to 180c or 160c fan heat oil in a large heatproof casserole dish to medium heat cook onion and garlic until translucent
  • add bacon and cook for 3 4 mins add beans tomato paste tomatoes sugar and vinegar stir to combine and cook in oven for 1 hr 45 mins
  • remove from oven stir through beans and cook for a further 15 mins
  • serve on toast with poached egg
