Homemade baked beans on toast always tastes better with an egg on top!
The ingredient of Breakfast Beans On Toast
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion diced
- 2 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 2 rashers bacon finally diced
- 2 tablespoons coles brand tomato paste
- 1 x 400g can tomatoes diced
- 1 3 cup brown sugar
- 1 4 cup balsamic vinegar
- cannellini beans drained rinsed
- thick sliced toast to serve
- 4 poached eggs to serve
The Instruction of breakfast beans on toast
- preheat oven to 180c or 160c fan heat oil in a large heatproof casserole dish to medium heat cook onion and garlic until translucent
- add bacon and cook for 3 4 mins add beans tomato paste tomatoes sugar and vinegar stir to combine and cook in oven for 1 hr 45 mins
- remove from oven stir through beans and cook for a further 15 mins
- serve on toast with poached egg
